The telecommunication industry considers customer relationship management as a significant issue for organizational adaptation. Mobile service providers have enforced CRM with the objective to reduce the number of customers that churn. The objective of this article is to detect high impact factors leading to customer churn in the mobile industry over the present-day market situation in Delhi-NCR by using a questionnaire survey and examine their importance. The study is done to understand usage patterns of customers using mobile data services. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics to identify the most common issues to identify attributes of selecting a service provider, cellular usage, and service quality. Thus, the authors have selected possible variables for modeling the decision tree to build a churn prediction model. A renewed customer service, after analyzing this experience, could predict those customers who are at risk of switching to a different provider.

In the recent past, understanding and practice of sustainability in tourism are becoming increasingly important to both academicians and tourism planners. In the last two decades, the attainment of sustainable development and the protection of touristic assets have been at the forefront of central policy issues in global tourism development. In addition to social and economic impact of tourism, overuse of natural resources and climate change are leading to the importance of drive for sustainable tourism development. Consequently, there is a growing research interest in investigating the performance of countries, especially in terms of environmental efficiency. In this article, the authors have empirically explored socio-economic efficiency of the top ten performing countries and India. Their basic content is summarised, along with the major findings. In this way, both measurement of countries' performance and the nonparametric approach of DEA have been given deserved attention. Tourism benchmarking and the assessment of tourism management performances are a crucial and challenging task in the direction of evaluating tourism sustainability and reshaping tourism activities. The proposed efficiency assessment procedure is based on data envelopment analysis (DEA). DEA is a methodology for evaluating the relative efficiency when facing multiple input and output. Although the methodology is extremely versatile, for the sake of exemplification, in this article it is applied to the evaluation and comparison of sustainable tourism management of India.

The challenges and emergence of a global economy and a Digital First World has created financial disruptions in e-commerce and e-business around the globe. The collaborations of banks with Fintech companies have led to digitalization being an important component of their business and marketing strategy. The application of e-banking has been demonstrated as an effective cost reduction, risk management and provides quick services to the customers. Nowadays, e-banking services have already ensured opportunities to reduce expenditures on physical structures. However, in some previous studies it has been showed that e-banking has helped banks and financial institutions to reduce costs, increase revenue, and increase customer experience. With the growth of digital banking in India, it is significant to analyze the actual situation of customer satisfaction in the banking sector. This article evaluates the various new digital banking technologies in the banking sector of India which have gained momentum after various banking reforms like the digital financial inclusion, demonetization and GST implementation. It also identifies the relationship between the increasing trends in the usage of electronic banking and a customer paradigm shift from traditional cash and paper-based cheque payment systems and evaluates various challenges and opportunities in the implementation of digitalization. Indian banks spend heavily to procuring banking information systems (BIS) in order to achieve positive benefits to the bank and to its customers. They are under increasing pressure to justify its value. However, the evaluation of success of the BIS is generally ignored by banks especially at the post-implementation stage. One of the main reasons for the lack of evaluation of BIS is the dearth of proper measurement models and parameters. Furthermore, there are many key challenges that impede the widespread use of banking information systems especially in India. This article explores some of the major future challenges of BIS in India by using qualitative research designs. The data was collected from 100 respondents at the level of bank manager or higher officials. The data was analyzed using thematic analysis (Braun and Clarke, 2006). The thematic analysis revealed three themes associated with future of BIS: the technological challenges, human factor related challenges, and the business related challenges. This study indicates that it is imperative to address these challenges in order to gain optimum benefits out of BIS. The results also indicates that banks need to frame policies for training programs, and implementing adequate restructuring mechanism and change management programs and expand business initiatives.
