Introduction

Leadership is a process that needs to exist and needs to be sustained in the life of the human being as a social creature. In communication studies, it is one of the most studied processes, and it continues to be analyzed to improve efficiency in social and work groups. Generally classified as negative and positive. Positive leadership is a key element to promoting the development of a community, we all depend on each other and to achieve specific goals, direction is required, this direction is sometimes executed through training for the development of skills acquired through different means. In companies, leadership is one of the key driving forces to improve performance, the type of leadership style used in an organization has an impact on its overall performance, the results of studies reveal that there is a strong relationship between leadership style and organizational performance (Akparep, Jengre, & Mogre, 2019).

Currently, many leaders continue to develop personal skills, personal experience, and practical knowledge; these experiences can be disseminated through mentoring activities. Due to the demands of the last two decades, the global economy has experienced massive changes. This rapid change has created a call to establish high-quality mentoring relationships for the development of leadership skills. Therefore, mentoring programs must implement empirically driven practices for the personal and professional growth of both mentors and mentees (Blake-Beard, Shapiro, & Ingols, 2021). Private companies have sought the analysis and adoption of various leadership and coaching techniques in the quest to achieve corporate goals. Empirical examples have shown that some organizations stand out from the crowd, win the competition, and grow, while others are declining in a similar environment, effective leadership and coaching are considered key factors that contribute to the growth and success of an organization, although there continue to be varied opinions about the characteristics of a successful leader (Abbas & Asghar, 2010).

In private companies, area leaders have the responsibility of motivating employees to perform different tasks. The management techniques and strategies implemented for the task of motivation and innovation require strong leadership skills, being able to achieve positive results. Classic studies on leadership have shown that managers who adjust to the principles of one of the different theories regarding the development of positive skills that leaders require, unlike those who do not adopt any leadership trend, achieve more in their own eyes. Eyes and those of their workers, these techniques could be transferred by methods such as “benchmarking” and be implemented within actions for quality governance and could be effective for sociocultural development. The findings can be useful for public policymakers and professionals in the process of developing national plans and programs, contributing to the leadership qualities of political leaders (Kozioł-Nadolna, 2020). Political agendas must create plans that facilitate the development of leaders and prepare them for government systems and political leadership. As such, it allowed them to have a positive and significant impact from a national and international perspective.
