G. Jagadamba

Jagadamba G. is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering, Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru, Karnataka after aquiring her BE, M.Tech, and Ph.D. degree from VTU, Belagavi. She has 20 years of teaching and research experience. Her research interests include security issues in the ubiquitous computing environment, adaptive and biometric authentication systems, trust and context-based security systems, and applications for e-commerce, e-learning, m-banking, and healthcare. She has published many book chapters in CRC press and IGI publications. She has also authored many research articles in reputed international journals and conferences. Aparrt from teaching, she has completed many industry projects from Continental, CISCO, Cyphertek, and Information systems, Bangalore. She has also conducted many certification courses such as “Introduction to computer networks”, Introduction to Routing and Switching”, “Internet of Things”, “Advanced Python Programming”, etc. She also delivered many seminars, webinars, and faculty development workshops. She has secured the “Best Project Award” in national level competition, “Best Paper Award” in conferences, “Best teacher Award 2021” from the Institute of Scholars, “Best Scholar Award 2021” from the International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering, 2021, and “Instructor of the Year 2021” from CISCO, Bangalore. Apart from academic activities, she has been very keen on serving society and the environment. With a group of like-minded friends, she has planted more than 5000 seedlings in dry lands around Tumakuru by keeping a motto of going green.
