Abstract

The author proposes a text with two approaches: a reflection on experiences of observation and participation in activities of cultural dynamization in libraries and the presentation of contributions to a possible research path in literary studies, particularly taking children's literature studies as a possible model, applied to the training of professionals in communication and information science. The courses in the higher education of these professionals should always consider that in addition to the creativity of the proposals of mediation and animation of reading activities, the aesthetic-literary value of books is an unavoidable driver of attractiveness and enrichment of the reader who fully enjoys it.
