Introduction

This book is an attempt to gain a broad and interdisciplinary understanding of management: how to deal with problems, strategically plan, execute, and even measure performance to improve or change plans and operations of organizations in the public, private, and civil society sectors.

Objective

The lessons and proposals of scholars, researchers, and practitioners from all over the world that will be collected here will be just as useful for academics to synthesize into the most contemporary and up-to-date knowledge. That will be beneficial to researchers who will use it to construct their own conceptual frameworks and practitioners who will apply it to manage their organizations more efficiently in the future.

Target Audience

It will be a textbook for management science and a guide for both researchers and managers of organizations in the artificial intelligence era.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before June 2, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by June 16, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by September 15, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-anonymized review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Modern Management Science Practices in the Age of AI. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-anonymized peer review editorial process.
