Introduction

Organizational knowledge management represents an imperative condition for the growth and survival of organizations in an unpredictable, turbulent, and rapidly changing business environment. Whereas research on learning and unlearning has grown exponentially, relearning is still considered an obscure concept (Sharma & Lenka, 2019). However, organizations of different sizes and types need to offer relevant, up-to-date opportunities and create a culture that embraces adaptability to change and ensures sustainability and survival in the worst scenarios possible. Organizations witness increased situations such as remote work, digital transformation, and shorter employee skill lifecycles. Therefore, the changing behaviors of leaders and employees towards relearning skills should become a priority in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of organizations. Sharma, S., and Lenka, U. (2019), "Exploring linkages between unlearning and relearning in organizations," The Learning Organization, Vol. 26 No. 5, pp. 500–517. https://doi.org/10.1108/TLO-10-2018-0164
