Societal Transformation Projects: The Role of an Adaptable Democracy (RAD) – A Humanistic Approach

Introduction

This chapter uses the author’s Applied Holistic Mathematical Model (AHMM) to support GA Decision-Making (DM) Systems (DMS) for the RAD (Trad, & Kalpić, 2020a). GA needs a holistic, generic, and polymathic structure that is abstracted with GA’s Concept (GAC) for RAD (GAC4RAD), like in the cases of massive changes that are due to major crises like Democracies’ limits, Pandemics, global regional wars, and major financial crisis/crashes. The AHMM for RAD (AHMM4RAD) was already used in various domains, like for the: Analyses of Societal transformations, Origins of Middle East’s Area (MEA) destabilizations, Organized global financial crimes, and other geopolitical cases. One of the most important DRisk is related to the mix between the optimal RAD, Societal long-term goals/stability, Financial equilibrium, Defense strategies, Health-wellbeing strategies, Defense and Military Technology (DMT) Strategy (DMTS), Financial capabilities/protections, GAC4RAD knowledge, Optimal societal readiness/resistance, Independent national RAD, and the evolution of equilibrated demography. Therefore, the stability of an Entity, depends on a holistic and polymathic RAD Strategy (RADS). The RADS supports the Entity’s societal transformation projects, which needs a National Independent Vision (NIV) and a concept to manage its geopolitical stability, which is needed to detect main DRisks; and hence protecting its democracy and avoid fictive static financial investments which will not solve all types of DRisks (Trad, 2021a, 2021b, 2021c). DCRAD chaos schemes, open new MCCMC opportunities and is major source of long-term financial profit for multinational corporations; and cause minorities’ cataclysm, like in the MEA. Global crisis, like: 1) The COVID-19 Pandemic, have brought MCCMC corporations and ultra-rich personalities colossal profits that can be calculated in trillions of USDs; 2) Reginal wars, like the Ukrainian-Russia War (URW) has made USA’s economy blooming again and has devastated the Ukrainian population; 3) The Iranian destruction of The MEA and the occupation of Lebanon… All these crises will need a new Marshall-plan pattern, which will ensure everlasting MCCMC economical emprise on the global economy. Therefore, RADs can be an opportunity for declining mammoth economies, which need new economical horizons; therefore, weaker Entities need DRisks detection system, NIV, and an adequate RADS. RADS needs: The HD as the base, Modern proactive defense, Proactive health/pandemics awareness, Financial protection, and Warfare readiness. RADS can include: Education for the propagation of democracy and ethics, Transformation planning and organization, and Coordination. RADS is built on an educational, cultural, national defense pattern. RADS uses GA4RAD uses geopolitical intelligence/knowledge, populations’ cultural background, existing resources, planning of the Entity’s evolution, and the optimal usage of the Entity’s main pools of assets. Today’s major RAD related changes are due to the evolution of AI, ICS/Technology, GA technics, demography, and unfortunately the notions of the tangible Return On Investments (ROI) and MCCMC; which have become the only real values (simply Materialistic) of a soft dictatorship. On the other hand, we have brutal dictatorships which has an ethnical, ideological, and totalitarian concepts or ruling (simply Dictatorship). So real HD is trapped between two symmetrically opposing undemocratic visions: 1) Materialistic; and 2) Dictatorship. The question is how RAD can avoid such visions without being too theoretical and unreachable. Even if the United States of America (USA) dominates and even owns the West, in fact it is a Materialistic version of Democracy (MD) which has a form of a global monopole. But in the so-called there exceptions, in the South-Europe and especially in France, which gives reasons for hope to achieve a HD with global reach. Russia political apparatus is a form of Brutal Political Dictatorships. RADS includes various democracy hypothesis, to offer a concept which depends on: Morale status, Education/culture, Geographical/Geopolitical context, Weather/climate, Demography, Health/medical capacities, Financial capacities, and Standards of life… MD’s vision is based on Financial and Technological (FinTech) capacities, which may enable the coordination of various organizational activities in order to serve exclusively financial circles and powerful lobbies. An adapted DMS for RAD (DMS4RAD) supports RADS’ evolution decisions and includes the following factors and areas: 1) GA4RAD capacities; 2) Managing (anti-)FinTech and MD long-term damaging effects; 3) Developing GA4RAD knowledge; 4) Preparing highly HD values; 5) Monitoring DRisks, especially the ones related to Dictatorships and State’s Organized Global Financial Predators (SOGFP), like the one applied by Switzerland; and 6) Ensuring the evolution of capable and equilibrated demographic resources. These factors or Critical Success Factors (CSF) and areas are interrelated and their disbalance may create major setbacks and even major Societal Transformation Project (simply a Project) problems. The human CSF and its: Level of political conciseness, sustainable educational, standards of life, demographical evolution, are the major constraints for RADS’ capabilities. RADS’ central domain is the optimal HD in a given context, because just branding the term democracy for all Entities does not make sense and can be even discriminatory. RADS comprises a set of cases/templates to support GA4RAD’s integration; but RADS differs from classical analysis schemes because it uses a polymathic approach and focuses on the HD. RADS excludes any form of MD or Dictatorship centric political concepts (Burke, 2020). A Project is an evolutive and slow unbundling process of the existing political system and takes into account all sensitive subjects like religious, cultural, and ethnical predispositions, which may generate Societal Resistance to Change (RtC). HD’s approach can be resistant to other forms of unjust political systems. HD was propagated by Charles Malik, a determined warrior for human rights, who left Germany when the Nazis got into power (Charles Malik Institute, 2022). This article’s Research and Development Project (RDP) for 4RAD (RDP4RAD) will offer a set of RADS recommendations.
