Urbanization necessitates sustainable energy solutions, with blue wind energy utilizing offshore wind resources effectively. Offshore wind farms near cities offer better energy production but require complex energy management systems for full potential realization.

Introduction

To address the increasing challenges posed by rapid urbanization, climate change, and increased energy consumption, the world must transition to sustainable urbanization. Given this, it is imperative to look into other energy sources, and blue wind energy stands out as a workable solution to these challenging issues. Because Blue Wind Energy makes use of airborne wind turbines that are linked to ground stations, it is a cutting-edge wind power technology. In this chapter, the potential of Blue Wind Energy as a fundamental component of Industry 5.0—a revolutionary industrial process combining green energy, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT)—is examined (Kasinathan et al., 2022). The demand for clever and sustainable solutions increases as we approach Industry 5.0, which is characterized by the seamless fusion of digital and physical technologies. Urbanization, which increases energy consumption and drives a paradigm shift in favour of ecologically friendly alternatives, is a hallmark of modern civilization. This research investigates the revolutionary potential of Blue Wind Energy as a sustainable power source for urbanized environments, combined with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), in order to usher in a new era of intelligent energy management within the framework of Industry 5.0. The need for innovative and sustainable energy alternatives is made clear by the escalating issues with conventional energy sources, such as resource depletion and environmental degradation. Blue Wind Energy is a practical solution that generates power from wind energy with the least amount of negative environmental effect. This renewable energy source is particularly significant when taking urbanization into account since densely inhabited areas need efficient and environmentally friendly energy solutions. Industry 5.0 concepts are aligned with the potential effect of Blue Wind Energy systems via the integration of AI and IoT technology. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to enhance Blue Wind Energy system performance via its capacity to evaluate extensive datasets and make prompt judgments (Elrahmani et al., 2021). Simultaneously, the Internet of Things enables an intelligent and networked energy environment, facilitating smooth device control and communication for effective energy management. In the context of Industry 5.0, the combination of Blue Wind Energy, AI, and IoT offers a comprehensive and innovative way to handle the growing energy requirements of urbanized landscapes.
