Vipul Srivastava

Dr. Vipul Srivastava, is presently, working as a Professor of Physics, Department of Physics, School of Chemical Engineering and Physical Sciences, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, India in 2005. He has a total of 21 years of research and teaching experience. His current areas of interest are materials science, condensed matter physics, electronic structure calculations, Density Functional Theory, optoelectronics, thermoelectrics, Heusler alloys, and Perovskite materials. He has guided seven Ph.D. scholars and many UG/PG students in their dissertation work. He received the Young Scientist award from the Government of India, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi in 2005. He handled three research projects funded by the Government of India. He has published 100+ research articles, of which 90 articles are SCI indexed. His h-index is 23. He has attended more than 50 conferences in India and abroad and organized many workshops, seminars, and conferences. He is an active reviewer of 30+ indexed journals in Physics. In 2020 he has been awarded as research excellence award from Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. Further, in 2021 he has been awarded a research appreciation award from his current University. Presently, he is contributing to the field of theoretical physics to discover novel materials for technological applications.
