Tom Adi

Tom Adi is Director of Research at the Readware Institute. He received a PhD. in computer science from Johannes Gutenberg University in 1979. He discovered the theory of deep semantics in 1985. A software implementation of the theory (Readware) was the top performer at the renowned international NIST Text Retrieval Conference (TREC-8, 1999). The theory was discussed in a video lecture (2017) and nine peer-reviewed publications, including chapters in two handbooks of research on Semiotics and Synthetic Emotions, an encyclopedia article (2014), a theory of consumer choices (2014), and an award-winning article about conceptual structures (2015).
