Rafael Marin-Lopez

Rafael Marin-Lopez is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Information and Communications Engineering at the University of Murcia, where he also received his B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Sciences in 1998, 2000 and 2008, respectively. He was an intern researcher for Toshiba America Research, Inc (TARI) in New Jersey (USA) for a year during 2005-2006. He has collaborated actively in standardization within the IETF (PANA WG, EAP WG, HOKEY WG, ABFAB WG) and the IEEE 802.21a Task Group as co-author of the standard IEEE 802.21a-2012TM . He has also participated in several EU funded projects such as Euro6IX, Daidalos I & II, ENABLE and GN3. He is author of several patents, as well as journals and conference papers. His main research interests include network access authentication, key distribution and security in mobile networks.
