Peter Kisembo

Peter Kisembo is an IT enthusiast with a track record with regards to the use of IT in teaching and learning after having completed a degree in IT at Mbarara University of science and technology. I taught Mathematics, Physical Science and Computer Application Technology at a South African public school for over 8 years. Also worked as the ICT coordinator for the different schools in my cluster where I was tasked with assisting educators with regards to coming up with different strategies on how to integrate ICT into the classroom as well as how to be able to effectively use technology to achieve the required teaching and learning out comes. I am a proactive learner, and I ensure that I stay up-to-date with industry trends in Technology. I am always looking for ways to enhance my knowledge by exploring emerging technology trends that will enable me to contribute to the success of software development initiatives. I take ownership of my work with ethical considerations, and I demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering results. I use my excellent collaborative skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is driven by innovation. With the experience gained over the years, I started my own IT company Appline technologies mainly dealing with developing eLearning content to be used by educators across the African continent. I also went ahead to pursue an Honours qualification in Computing with the University of South Africa to widen my expertise further in technology especially relating to eLearning.
