Pete Swanson

Pete Swanson (PhD, University of Wyoming) currently teaches in the Department of Foreign Languages at the United States Air Force Academy. He is Associate Professor of Spanish and is the Past President of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. His research focuses on language teacher effectiveness, characteristics of highly effective language teachers, and the measurement of learner proficiency in the target language.
