Pekka Abrahamsson

Pekka Abrahamsson, PhD is a professor of computer science in University of Helsinki in Finland. He leads large European research projects on agile software development in large systems development settings. He has presented several key notes on agile software development in several international conferences He has published more than 65 refereed publications in international journals and conferences. His research interests are centered on agile software development, empirical software engineering and embedded systems development. He leads the IEEE 1648 working group on agile standardization and he was granted the Nokia Foundation Award in 2007. Dr. Abrahamsson is a member of both IEEE and ACM.
