Md. Salleh Hj. Hassan

Md. Salleh Hj. HassanMd. Salleh H.Hassan is a professor at the Department of Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia and previously served as the Director, Institute for Social Science Studies of UPM (2006-2011). His research interests are in the area of mass communication, development communication and new communication technology. He has been active at the international level presenting papers at conferences and publishing in international journals. Currently he serves as the Vice President of the World Communication Association (WCA). He is also a member of the Asian Mass Communication Research and Information Centre (AMIC), International Association of Agricultural Information Specialists (IAALD), life member Society for International Development and Malaysian Association of Social Sciences. His current research is on the use ICT for agricultural and rural development.
