Liz Kheng

Liz Kheng is a doctoral candidate working towards her DBA at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, where she also earned her MBA in 2019. Liz's dissertation research topic closely aligns with her professional role as an IT consultant and small business owner and partner at TSG Partners Ltd. She is exploring systems theory to understand organizational systems to identify the component that may promote the financial independence of foster youth. Liz has worked as an IT consultant for almost twenty years in the health and human services sector. She specializes in contract management and IT services for state, local government, and educational institutions (SLED). Her most notable projects include the Ohio FirstNet Project, during the knowledge management, requirements gathering, and the public outreach phase of the first responders' priority 5G broadband network. As a partner with TSG, Liz worked with Accenture to build a development team for the Ohio Gateway Modernization Project, a digital platform for Ohio businesses to apply for licensures and pay commercial and sales taxes. Liz has also partnered with CBTS to provide Chromebooks to students at Columbus City Schools, the largest school district in Ohio. The project also included developing an inventory knowledge management system to manage and track assets.
