Kathleen A. Paciga

Kathleen A. PacigaDr. Paciga completed her doctoral studies in Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Literacy, Language & Culture from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011. She presently teaches at Columbia College Chicago in the Early Childhood and Elementary Education programs and she holds an early career research fellowship with funding from the Grable Foundation (awarded jointly from TEC Center at Erikson Institute and the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media). Her research interests and background are specialized in the fields of early literacy and technology for literacy, with emphasis on digital storybooks/e-books and developmentally appropriate integration of technology for literacy development into schools.
