K. JagatheesanJagatheesan Kaliannan is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal, Tamilnadu, India. He has more than 11 years of teaching experience and 9 years of research experience, he has an authored one book entitled “Bio-Inspired Algorithms in PID controller optimization” published by CRC press, Taylor & Francis Group, New York and more than 16 book chapters with Elsevier, Wiley, CRC Press, IGI Global and Springer. He also published more than 60 research papers in Journals of International repute, International and national Conferences. His h-index is 16 and i10 index is 19 with more than 843 citations. His main research interests are power system operation and control, Stability analysis, Digital controllers and bio-inspired optimization techniques. He has received funding (Rs. 30,000) from CSIR for organizing one day national level seminar. He organized several national level technical seminars, workshop, published Patents, co-coordinator of various academic council and social activities.
