Jean de Dieu Sikulibo

Jean de Dieu Sikulibo holds a PhD in International Law from the University of Strathclyde, in the United Kingdom, an LL.M in International Law from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and an LL. B in Law from the National University of Rwanda. Dr Sikulibo’s teaching and research interests are in international law, including all aspects of immunities, international criminal law, international humanitarian law, international human rights law, the law of international organisations, and international dispute settlement. He has worked at the United Nations, the Supreme Court of Rwanda and the Lawyers without Borders in Rwanda as well as at the Diakonia’s International Humanitarian Law Resource Centre. In addition to teaching, Dr Sikulibo has written and spoken widely on a wide range of international legal issues primarily relating to the recent developments in international criminal justice.
