H.R. Chennamma

Chennamma H. R. received Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Mysore in the area of Digital Image Forensics in 2011. Subsequently, she has been invited as a visiting researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of North Texas, USA in 2012. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Applications, JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru. Previously, She has been awarded a prestigious Fellowship under the scheme of Research and Development in Forensics from the Department of Home Affairs, Government of India in 2005. Chennamma served as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Hyderabad. She served as a Project Trainee for a year at the National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL), Bangalore and she also served as a software engineer for a year in a multinational software company, Bangalore. Chennamma received Jindal Merit Scholarship and she also the recipient of two “Best Scientific Paper Awards”. One in ‘All India Forensic Science Conference’, Kolkata, India in the year 2007 and other is in National Cyber Safety and Security Standards Summit ’17, BITS Pilani – Hyderabad Campus, Feb 2017. Her research areas of interests are Image and Video forensics and computer vision.
