Gordon W. Skelton

Gordon W. Skelton, Ph.D. is an adjunct faculty member of the School of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering at Jackson State University. Prior to joining Jackson State, Dr. Skelton was an adjunct professor with the University of Mississippi’s Jackson Engineering Graduate Program in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications. Dr. Skelton is also employed as Vice President for Information Services with Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Company in Jackson, MS. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of South Africa. He has published and lectured on the subject of wireless application development and software quality. His current research interests are directed towards wireless application development, mobile computing, software quality assurance, embedded application development, and wireless sensor networks. Dr. Skelton is an IEEE Certified Software Development Professional and an ASQ Software Quality Engineer
