Gonzalo Safont

Gonzalo SafontGonzalo Safont reveived his B.Eng. and his Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain, in 2008 and 2015, respectively. He is currently working as a researcher at the Signal Processing Group, a member group of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) of UPV. His main interests concentrate in the signal processing field. He has worked in advanced methods for data mining, prediction, and dynamic modeling based on mixture of independent component analyzers and decision fusion techniques. He has worked in different applied problems including financial data mining, non-destructive testing, and biomedical diagnosis. He has published 3 papers in JCR-indexed journals, 1 book chapter in an international publisher, and 14 international conference papers. He has also participated in several national and international projects and industry contracts.
