Gary R. Weckman

Gary R. Weckman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Ohio University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and has practiced industrial engineering for over 12 years at firms such as General Electric Aircraft Engines, Kenner Products, and the Trane Company. During his career, he has had a number of technical and managerial responsibilities, which has revolved around developing and implementing decision support and forecasting systems. Through a mixture of research and application, Dr. Weckman possesses an internationally-renown reputation for his contributions of developing methodologies for complex manufacturing, information, financial, healthcare, sports, and environmental systems.
