Fernando Seoane

Prof. Fernando Seoane after obtaining his Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Alcalá in 2001, received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and Linköping University in 2007 and 2004, respectively. He is a full Professor in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Borås, and Senior Researcher with the School of Technology and Health at the KTH-Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. His research in biomedical engineering focuses in wearable measurements systems and biosignals analysis of non-invasive physiological measurements of electrical phenomena for p-health monitoring solutions. He has co-authored more than 90 scientific publications, including 26 peer-reviewed journal articles. He is IEEE Senior member, currently member of the IEEE-EMBS Technical Committee in wearable measurement systems and the chair of the Swedish IEEE-EMBS chapter.
