Evans Sokro

Evans Sokro holds a PhD from Federation University Australia, MPhil Human Resource Management and BA Psychology and Sociology all from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a senior lecturer and Head, Department of Human Resource Management at the Central Business School, where he teaches courses in HRM at the MBA and undergraduate levels. He is also an associate member of Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana. He has considerable research, teaching and consulting experience in the application of management principles and theory to everyday management and human resource challenges in organisations. Evans has a couple of publications in internationally peer-reviewed academic journals and presented conference papers at international conferences. His research interests include Expatriation in sub-Saharan Africa, Organisational culture and values, Leadership effectiveness and HRIS. He was a recipient of Federation University Australia postgraduate research scholarship and a special overseas student scholarship award in 2014.
