Eleana Asimakopoulou

Eleana Asimakopoulouhas a first degree (University of Luton, UK) and an MA (University of Westminster, UK) in Architecture and a PhD (Loughborough University, UK) in managing natural disasters using Grid technology. She is currently a visiting lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Bedfordshire. Eleana is a reviewer in several international conferences and journals and her research interests include emergency management, response and planning for disasters, business continuity, construction and risk management, and also advanced ICT methods (such as grid and other forms of applicable collaborative technologies) for disaster management.
