Dimitrios Koukopoulos

Dimitrios Koukopoulos born in Karditsa, Greece in 1975. He obtained his engineering diploma in computer engineering and informatics from the University of Patras, Greece in 1998. He obtained his MSc in communications and signal processing from the Imperial College of the University of London, UK in 1999. He received his PhD in computer engineering and informatics from the University of Patras, Greece in 2003. His major fields of study cover algorithms, network stability, heterogeneous networks, trustworthy multimedia networks and audio watermarking. Since 2008, he is a lecturer at the Department of Cultural Heritage Management and New Technologies (University of Ioannina, Greece). From 2006 until 2008, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Information Technology Applications in Management and Economics (Technological Educational Institute of Ionian Islands, Greece). He worked as a researcher for the Research Academic Computer Technological Institute in Greece.
