Dimitra Skoumpopoulou

Dimitra SkoumpopoulouDimitra is a Senior Lecturer in Information Management in Newcastle Business School. She worked as a business consultant both in the UK and abroad and she has wide-ranging experience in the implementation and use of information systems in the retail, sales and service sectors. Her research is focused in the area of information systems and approaches to information systems implementation. She has a particular interest in the human aspect of IS implementation since IS often fail not because of technological drawbacks but because end users either do not accept IS or do not know how to use them.
