Barry Wellman

Barry WellmanBarry Wellman codirects the NetLab Network and was formerly the S.D. Clark Professor of Sociology at the University of Toronto. Wellman coauthored Networked: The New Social Operating System. He founded the International Network for Social Network Analysis in 1976, and the NetLab Network in 2000. Wellman is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and has won multiple career achievement awards.
