António Osório

António OsórioAntónio José Osório - Associate Professor, with Aggregation, University of Minho, member of the Department of Curricular Studies and Educational Technology of the Institute of Education and researcher of the Center for Research in Education, being coordinator of the research group on Technologies, Multiliteracies and Curriculum. He was a professor of Biology and Geology in Basic and Secondary Education and, as a collaborator of the MINERVA Project, he participated, under the guidance of Professor Altamiro Machado, in research and development activities within the Lethes / Peneda-Gerês Project, providing a telematic network to the schools of the villages of the only National Park in Portugal. He completed PhD studies in educational telematics at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom and was supervised by Professors Niki Davis and Martin Hughes. He provided evidence of aggregation in Educational Sciences, in the specialty of Educational Technology, at the University of Minho. Has teaching experience in the initial and continuous training of educators and teachers and research experience in educational telematics, as well as coordinating several national and international research projects in the field of Educational Technology or Information and Communication Technologies in Education. Director of master's degree courses and supervisor of several masters and doctoral projects in these areas of specialization.
