Andreas Mitrakas

Andreas Mitrakas is legal adviser at the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA). He has previously been senior counsel at Ubizen (a Cybertrust company) and general counsel at GlobalSign, (Vodafone Group). He has been consulted in several security implementations in eGovernment. He is a qualified attorney (Athens Bar) and has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster and the Athens University for Economics and Business. He has co-authored more than 85 publications including Open EDI and law in Europe: A regulatory framework. He holds a PhD in electronic commerce and the law from Erasmus University of Rotterdam, a master’s in computers and law from Queen’s University of Belfast, a diploma in project management from ParisTech (Grandes Ecoles d’Ingenieurs de Paris), and a law degree from the University of Athens.
