Alper Erturk

Alper Erturk is a professor working on business management, data science and digital transformation with more than 20 years of academic and industry experience. He is currently working as Full Professor of Management & MIS and Chair of Management Department at Australian University - Kuwait. Furthermore, he is also affiliated with Istanbul Topkapi University as Professor of MIS (Management Information Systems) and delivering lectures on Masters and Doctoral level (I am also the former Dean of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Faculty at Istanbul Topkapi University). Previously, he worked as Professor of Management at Rabat Business School, Morocco, and as Professor of HR Analytics at GISMA Business School, Hannover, Germany. Before that, he conducted research as Fulbright Scholar (Visiting Professor) at Portland State University, OR, USA. He also worked as the Head of Department of MIS at Duzce University, Turkey for more than 4 years. He has more than 50 publications, including journal articles, conference presentations, edited books and book chapters, as well as more than 15 years of teaching & research experience.
