Ali Reza Montazemi

Ali Reza MontazemiDr. Ali Reza Montazemi is Professor of Information Systems at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. He has served on the editorial boards of Journals such as European Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Electronic Government Research, Journal of Information Systems and Telecommunication, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, and several international conferences such as Americas Conference on Information Systems. Professor Montazemi specializes in the design and development of information systems in support of business process effectiveness and efficiency. His research and consulting include IT Governance, Self-Service Technologies, business process design through information technology, and change management. His research include use of information technologies by SMES. He has published over 100 scientific papers, one textbook, three monographs, and three software packages. His publications have appeared in prestigious journals and conferences such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, IEE Transactions on Man, Systems and Cybernetics, and International Conference on Information Systems. Professor Montazemi has a diverse corporate teaching experience, industrial research and consulting in Canada, U.S.A., South-East Asia, Europe, and Middle East.
