Alexis Blavos

Alexis Blavos , PhD, MCHES®, is an associate professor at SUNY Cortland and new member of the Division Board for Certified of Health Education Specialists for the National Commission of Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC). Her academic and work experiences include 15 years of service in the public health field as a practitioner and researcher. Among her many research interests are college health, advocacy, health policy, health justice, and the responsibilities and competencies of health education specialists.
