Dr. Victor C. X. Wang Announces the New Encyclopedia of Strategic Leadership and Management

Encyclopedia of Strategic Leadership and Management Dr. Victor C. X. Wang, an acclaimed researcher and scholar, has published more than 230 outstanding reference books and scholarly journals with IGI Global and other internationally-recognized publishers, and has seen great success throughout the years in regards to the dissemination of his publications around the world. Along with IGI Global, Dr. Wang is pleased to announce the groundbreaking new publication, the Encyclopedia of Strategic Leadership and Management.

The Encyclopedia of Strategic Leadership and Management investigates emergent administrative techniques and business practices being utilized within corporate and educational settings. Highlighting empirical research and best practices within the field, this encyclopedia will be an authoritative reference source for students, researchers, faculty, librarians, managers, and leaders across various disciplines and cultures.

This 3-volume, 1800-page book is scheduled to release in December, but the manuscript was completed prior to May 2016. It took Dr. Wang and his team of nearly 300 authors from multiple countries and U.S. states 1.5 years to complete. Many scholars hail from Ivy League Schools and Tier I Universities, including Columbia University, Rutgers University, and University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. A number of scholars also come from teaching universities. Out of 124 cutting-edge chapters, 19 were written by faculty and PhD students (Dr. Wang’s dissertation mentees) from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The idea for publishing this encyclopedia was inspired by FAU’s strategic plan, a race to excellence. The introduction of the strategic plan presented a perfect time to release the encyclopedia, which will be cataloged by numerous university libraries and national libraries around the world.

IGI Global would like to congratulate Dr. Wang on his tremendous accomplishment in publishing such a significant body of research, and sincere thanks to all the title contributors for lending their scholarly efforts as well. The past President of AAACE and past chair of the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame, Dr. John A. Henschke, recently nominated Dr. Wang for the AAACE President’s Award for Exceptional and Innovative Leadership in Adult and Continuing Education for 2016. This is a national award granted to leading scholars including the late Dr. Jack Mezirow, former chair of Columbia University who launched a movement on Transformative Learning in North America. IGI Global wishes Dr. Wang the best regarding this national honor for his exceptional and innovative leadership in Adult and Continuing Education.
