Spotlight Titles For Human Rights Day

By IGI Global on Dec 8, 2014
Human Rights Day is observed by the international community every year on December 10th. It commemorates the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

When the General Assembly adopted the Declaration, with 48 states in favor and eight abstentions, it was proclaimed as a "common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations", towards which individuals and societies should "strive by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition". In observance of this event, IGI Global would like to bring attention to a few premier reference sources that support this valuable cause.

Human Rights and Ethics: Concepts, Methodologies, Tools, and ApplicationsHuman Rights and Ethics: Concepts, Methodologies, Tools, and Applications is a comprehensive 4-volume set that considers some of the most important issues in the ethics of human interaction, whether in business, politics, or science and technology. Covering issues such as cybercrime, bioethics, medical care, and corporate leadership, this four-volume reference work will serve as a crucial resource for leaders, innovators, educators, and other personnel living and working in the modern world.
