InfoSci®-E-Government

By IGI Global on Nov 25, 2011
InfoSci®-E-Government is a fully-searchable, customizable database that provides access to all chapters included in IGI Global books that have been published on the core information science discipline of e-government. Titles included in this collection represent IGI Global's unique focus on the role, impact, and effective use of technology within e-government, global information technology, environmental technologies, and more essential topics.

This collection is highly relevant in today's ever-changing technological landscape. Topics covered in this unique collection include the digital divide and developing countries, environmental engineering, electronic services, environmental technologies, global business, urban and regional development, electronic government, geoinformatics, enterprise information systems, public and sector management, global IT, and outsourcing.

By the end of the 2012 copyright year there will be more than 140 titles included in InfoSci®-E-Government. Some recently released titles that can be found in this collection include E-Parliament and ICT-Based Legislation: Concept, Experiences and Lessons, Ethical Models and Applications of Globalization: Cultural, Socio-Political and Economic Perspectives, Sustainable Systems and Energy Management at the Regional Level: Comparative Approaches, E-Governance and Civic Engagement: Factors and Determinants of E-Democracy, and City Competitiveness and Improving Urban Subsystems: Technologies and Applications.

InfoSci®-E-Government is part of our InfoSci®-Subject Database Collection. Our Subject Databases have been recommended by CHOICE which said in 2007 "… for a field that changes as rapidly as information science and technology, this resource can be a very nice addition, or alternative to, print for any academic reference collection."
