IGI Global Will Be Attending 2019 Charleston Conference as a Diamond Sponsor

As a diamond sponsor for 11 years, IGI Global will be exhibiting and presenting at the upcoming 2019 Charleston Conference taking place in Charleston, South Carolina from November 4-8, 2019. As such, IGI Global will be:

Exhibiting at Table #71 at the Vendor Showcase

Mr. Nick Newcomer, Senior Director of Marketing and Sales, will be representing the international academic publisher during the Vendor Showcase on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Leading the Panel Session “Twelve Danishes for the Price of One: The Benefits of Bulk Acquisitions for Libraries”

Mr. Nick Newcomer will be leading a session at the conference titled “Twelve Danishes for the Price of One: The Benefits of Bulk Acquisitions for Libraries” on Wednesday, November 6, from 10:45 -11:25 a.m. at the Cypress Ballroom North, Courtyard Marriott Hotel. During the session, attendees will hear viewpoints from a librarian, publisher, and an aggregator on the benefits of bulk acquisitions compared to the title-by-title approach, and ways these parties can come together to create innovative solutions for achieving a maximized ROI for libraries. Speakers on this panel include the following:

  • Mr. Nick Newcomer, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, IGI Global
  • Mr. John Elwell, MLIS/MA, Director of Content Strategies at EBSCO Books
  • Mr. Scott Pope, MLS, Continuing Resources Librarian at Texas State University
  • Ms. Sara Tarpley, Director of Academic Product Sales at Gale-Cengage Learning
