Academic Library Management and Collection Development in the Digital Age is a video lecture outlining the ways in which electronic resource management tools and social media are revolutionizing the management of academic libraries around the world. Focusing on historical perspectives, the changing scope of academic libraries, various types of electronic resources, and managerial strategies.

There is no doubt that technology has drastically changed the way that individuals conduct business and manage organizations across sectors. Libraries, and especially academic libraries, are no exception as digital tools for managing library collections, cataloging materials, and organizing library records have become commonplace. Delivered by Western Kentucky University Campus Librarian, Jennifer Ashley Wright Joe, this video series is useful for professionals and paraprofessionals in libraries and library-related fields as well as students in library science or information science programs.
