Editor/Author Biographies
Mihail Antchev received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronic engineering with highest distinction from Technical University, Sofia, Bulgaria. He also received his Ph.D. degree in Power Electronics from Technical University, Sofia, Bulgaria. His Ph.D. thesis was focused on power factor improvement in controlled rectifiers. Dr. Antchev is a Professor on Power Electronics in the Technical University, Sofia, Bulgaria. He has published 70 journal and conference papers, 5 books and also he is a reviewer of IEEE journal and conference papers. He was listed in the Who’s Who in the World 24th Edition. His areas of interest include design and control of power electronic converters and systems, active power filters and UPS systems.
