Featuring exhaustive coverage on a variety of topics associated with food fundamentals such as, availability, stability, utilization, and accessibility, this reference work is an essential source for professionals, researchers and students seeking current research on the importance of potato cultivation.

Coverage:

The many academic areas covered in this publication include, but are not limited to:

  • Aerosol Treatments
  • Agro Climate
  • Geoinformantics
  • Nutrient Application Rate
  • Nutrient Deficiency
  • Potato Diseases
Reviews & Statements

Researchers in agricultural sciences, botany, soil science, and related fields explore possible impacts of climate change on cultivating potatoes, the third most human-consumed crop (after rice and wheat). Among the topics are climate change and land suitability for potato cultivation in India, crop-weather interaction in potato in the South Bengal Plains, improved agronomic practices and input use efficiency for potato production under changing climate, towards the development of salt-tolerant potatoes, the impact of global climate change on potato diseases and strategies for mitigating it, and diseases of potato as a major constraint on potato production.
