Editor/Author Biographies
Satchidananda Dehuri is a Director of Center for Distance and Continuing Education, Fakir Mohan University, Vyasa Vihar, Balasore,Odisha. He received his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Sambalpur University, Odisha in 1998, and the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Odisha in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He completed his Post Doctoral Research in Soft Computing Laboratory, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea under the BOYSCAST Fellowship Program of DST, Govt. of India. In 2010 he received Young Scientist Award in Engineering and Technology for the year 2008 from Odisha Vigyan Academy, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Odisha. He was at the Center for Theoretical Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur as a Visiting Scholar in 2002. During May-June 2006 he was a Visiting Scientist at the Center for Soft Computing Research, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. His research interests include Evolutionary Computation and Data Mining. He has already published about 100 research papers in reputed journals and referred conferences, has published three text books for undergraduate and Post graduate students and edited five books, and is acting as an editorial member of various journals. He has already guided 2 Ph. D. scholars in the area of Computer Science.
Manas Ranjan Patra born on June 4th,1963 holds a Ph.D. degree in computer Science from the Central University of Hyderabad. He has been teaching in the Post Graduate Department of Computer Science, Berhampur University since 1987. As a United Nations visiting Fellow he carried out research at the International Institute for Software Technology, United Nations University, Macau in the year 2000. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (Reserve Bank of India), Hyderabad during 2005-06. Currently, he heads the Department of Computer Science, Berhampur University. He is a life member of CSI, ISTE & OITS, and a Fellow of ACEEE. He has published more than 100 research articles in various International and national journals and conferences. His active area of research includes Data Mining, Intrusion detection and prevention, e-governance etc.
Bijan Bihari Misra is currently working as Dean (Research) at Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, India. He received Bachelor degree in Textiles from Kanpur University, India in 1984, Master of Technology in Computer Science from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India in 2002 and Ph.D. in Engineering from Biju Pattanaik University of Technology, Rourkela, India, in 2011. His areas of interests include Data Mining, Sensor Network, Bioinformatics, Evolutionary Computation, Bio-inspired Computation and Computational Intelligence. He has published one book, three book chapters and fifty six papers in different journals and conferences of National and International repute. He has been a key note speaker and session chair of different national and international conferences.
Alok Kumar Jagadev has obtained his Ph.D. degree from Siksha O Anusandhan University, Odisha, in the year 2011. He has served as faculty member in various institutes in the state of Odisha. Presently, he is working as an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Siksha O Anusandhan University, Odisha. His area of research is wireless Ad-hoc networks and applications of soft computing techniques in data mining. He has contributed around 30 papers in journals and conferences of national and international repute. He has also contributed four text books in the area of computer science in his credit.
