Editor/Author Biographies
Rajeev Pratap Singh is working as an Assistant Professor at Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (IESD), Banaras Hindu University (INDIA). Dr. Singh completed his M.Sc. in Environmental Science at Lucknow University and his Ph.D. at Banaras Hindu University. His major research interests are solid waste management, bio-composting, and green technology. He has received several National and International awards, such as the “Green Talent” award from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Germany; the Prosper.Net Scopus Young Scientist award; Water Advanced Research and Innovation (WARI) Fellowship from Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India and Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF); etc. Dr. Singh also serves as a reviewer and editorial team member for several important scientific journals and has co-authored more than 40 highly cited research and review articles on solid waste management.
Anita Singh is working as DST-Young Scientist in the Department of Botany, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, India. Her expertise falls under the domain of sustainable agriculture as well as metal remediation. She has done Ph.D.from Department ofBotany,Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi,India. She has worked on Metal remediation, impact of abiotic stress on plant physiology and biochemistry, assessment of Florescence Transients and other plants metabolic activities. Till date, she has 37 publications to her credit in the reputed international journal/books including research article, review and chapters. During her research period she got International “Green Talent” Award organized by BMBF, Germany. She also got an International Alice J. Murphy Outstanding Achievement Award for excellence in Research and Education leading to better Understanding of the Ecology of the Tropics.
Vaibhav Srivastava is working as a Research Scholar at Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (IESD), Banaras Hindu University (INDIA). Mr. Srivastava has done his M.Sc. in Botany from University of Allahabad and pursuing his Ph.D. at Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (IESD), Banaras Hindu University (INDIA). His research area of interests are sustainable agricultural practices, vermicomposting and waste management. He is a budding researcher in area of waste management and vermicomposting. Mr. Srivastava has 5 scientific articlesin reputed international journals/ books till date.
