Editor/Author Biographies
Tobias Kollmann holds the Chair for E-Business and E-Entrepreneurship at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Campus Essen – Germany. He received his doctoral degree in 1997 from the University of Trier with a thesis on the acceptance of innovative telecommunication and multimedia systems. His main research interest is ‘E-Entrepreneurship’ – that is, all aspects of company founding and development in electronic business environments.
Andreas Kuckertz is an assistant professor (‘akademischer Rat’) teaching and researching management at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, where he is a member of the e-business and e-entrepreneurship research group. The group focuses on high-technology entrepreneurship in TIMES industries. Moreover, he is an associate member of the strategy, networks, and enterprise research group at the University of Vaasa, Finland. He is Associate Editor of the International Journal of E-Entrepreneurship and Innovation (IJEEI) and serves as the Country Vice President Germany for the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB). He holds a master's degree from the University of Leipzig, Germany, and received his doctoral degree with a thesis on venture capital finance from the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2005.
Christoph Stöckmann is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, where he is a member of the e-business and e-entrepreneurship research group. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and Information Science and received his doctoral degree with a thesis on exploratory and exploitative innovation and their effects on the EO-performance relationship in ICT-Ventures from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.
