Srijan Bhattacharya

is presently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering in RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India, with more than 14 years teaching and research experience. Dr. Bhattacharya received Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics & Instrumentation from Gandhi Institute of Engineering & Technology (Presently GIET University), Orissa, India (2003), Master of Engineering (M. Tech) in Electrical Engineering (Specialization Mechatronics) With Gold Medal from National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research, Kolkata, India (2008) and Doctor of Philosophy from Department of Aerospace Engineering & Applied Mechanics (Specialization Mechatronics) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India (Formerly Bengal Engineering & Science University, Shibpur) (2017), Dr. Bhattacharya’s area of research includes Mechatronics, Sensors, Smart Materials and Instrumentation, he has published more than 30 research papers in – international, national journals, book chapters, national and international conferences. He carrying out sponsored project by - The Institution of Engineers (India). He has organized more than 15 workshop, seminar (National & International) including IEEE International Conference as Organizing Secretary. Dr. Bhattacharya visited and associated with research in several labs at India, he also visited labs in Bangladesh, Japan and UK. He is associated with professional membership with IEEE - Sensors Council, Biometrics Council, Robotics and Automation Society and Life Membership with The Robotics Society (Robotic Society of India), The Institution of Engineers (India), Association for Machines and Mechanisms, Instrument Society of India (ISOI).
