Abstract

Kazuya Matsudaira, President/CEO of PRIDE Japan Incorporated, has been a management consultant since 1965 with Japan Management Association, the biggest management consulting organization in Japan. He has worked as consultant of industrial engineering JMA from 1965 to 1971 and during that period he consulted with more than 20 organizations in the field of production systems development. Mr. Matsudaira has introduced a number of software packages to the Japanese software market, among them SCERT (COMRESS, Inc., USA), which is the first package approved by the Japanese government by negotiating with the ministry of international trade and industry of Japan in 1971. In 1974, he founded PRIDE Japan Inc. and started to sell the Know-How package of PRIDE.
