Ravinesh Deo

Ravinesh Deo is a Senior Lecturer at University of Southern Queensland. He graduated with PhD from University of Adelaide (Australia), MSc from University of Canterbury (New Zealand), BSc from University of the South Pacific (Fiji) and Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching from University of Southern Queensland. Dr Deo completed postdoctoral fellowship at University of Queensland and Principal Scientist at Queensland Climate Change Centre for Excellence. Dr Deo secured prestigious awards of excellence. Recognizing his leadership Dr Deo was awarded Endeavour Fellowship, Chinese Academy of Science Presidential Fellowship and Japan Promotion of Science Invitational Fellowship. Dr Deo’s awards funded Senior Fellowship at McGill University, Associate Professor and industry affiliate at Cold and Arid Regions Engineering and Environmental Institute and as Fellow of JSPS international body. Dr Deo is a research leader, evidenced through Head of Department Award, Publication Excellence Award-University Category and Publication Excellence Award-University Category and internal grants/research incentives with more than 80 journal, book chapters and peer reviewed conferences.
