Joy Egbert

Joy Egbert is Professor of ELL and Education Technology at Washington State University, where she is also vice chair of the Teaching Academy. She earned her MA and PhD from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. Joy has presented around the world as an invited speaker and Fulbright scholar. She is the immediate past Editor in Chief of TESOL Journal and author/editor of many books and articles in the areas of teacher education, computer-assisted language learning, research, and education technology. Her work has appeared in forums such as TESOL Quarterly, Modern Language Journal, System, TESOL Journal, and others.
