IGI Global and China Computer Federation (CCF) Forge Path for Collaborative Publishing Partnership

On June 12, 2023, representatives from IGI Global, an American publishing company, visited the headquarters of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and engaged in discussions and exchanges regarding future collaborations in the publishing field.

Mr. Nick Newcomer, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at IGI-Global, and Ms. Jia Li, General Manager of IGI-Global's Chinese subsidiary, attended the meeting along with Mr. Qingshan Shu, Deputy Secretary-General and General Manager of the Business Headquarters & Academic Exchange Center of CCF, Mr. Zeguang Lu, CCF Council Member and Assistant Director of the Publishing Working Committee, and Ms. Huan Song, Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy General Manager of the Business Headquarters & Academic Exchange Center of CCF.

Mr. Newcomer and Ms. Li visited the CCF headquarters and academic exchange center, and subsequently engaged in detailed discussions with CCF regarding their publishing collaboration in the field of computing in China. Mr. Lu introduced CCF's publishing work, and both parties had in-depth exchanges on future collaborations in publishing. The meeting atmosphere was harmonious, and they reached a consensus on cooperation matters. IGI Global will provide special benefits to CCF members for their academic articles published in their open-access journals.

Both parties agreed that IGI Global is a leading international academic publisher, particularly renowned for high-quality and innovative publications in the field of information technology. In the future, IGI Global will closely collaborate with CCF to jointly engage in publishing collaborations involving English books, journals, conference proceedings, and other academic literature in China.
