Marzena Sobczak-Michalowska

Marzena Sobczak-Michalowska is Vice-Rector of International Affairs, University of Economy in Bydgoszcz, Poland and Director of the Europe Direct European Information Point in Toruń. She obtained her Ph.D. in 1992 in the field of pedagogy, Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in Moscow. She has been awarded with acknowledgement letter from the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Waldemar Achramowicz, for involvement and contribution to the construction of a strategy for social welfare and from the Mayor of Bydgoszcz for presenting a review of the study and for fruitful cooperation with the District Labour Office in Bydgoszcz. She obtained a commemorative medal minted on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the CSO and medal of the National Education Commission for special merits in the field of education and upbringing. Also she obtained Zhubanov University medal for building international relations. She is involved with more than 15 number of selected scientific and research projects and scientific editor of more than 20 books.
